Mary Edwards Walker's bio

Mary was the one of six brothers and she was the first of her class to graduate from . She got married to a doctor she was a doctor too. But there marridge did not work out to great, they got divorced. She moved to new york. (they lived in rome) She went back to school to study science

After the war she became a writer and a lecture. she supported the heath. But before this she was a civil war doctor.

She wore men's clothing. she became a surgen in september 1863 to the 52nd ohio in the cumberland. She joined a band of confed erate soilders of the geogia tenessee. Her father built the first school house on his land for other kinds and his own.
